    What's new

    Faster, lighter updates

    • An update no longer reinstalls every dependency when only the version changed, and keeps the UI's build tools between updates — no ~200 MB download each time.
    • The UI build on your machine skips the type check (~25 s and ~900 MB of memory saved per update).
    • About 80 MB less to install: the API docs viewer is bundled instead of pulled in with its dependencies.
    • When the background setup fails (Node too old, npm install, UI build), Claude Code now tells you once, with the log file to read and /agenthub-doctor.
    • Port 4820 taken by another program: a clear message instead of a crash.

    Lighter while running

    • The first page loads half the JavaScript (884 KB → 431 KB).
    • Far fewer background requests: an ended conversation, the run list, the status bar and the dashboard follow live updates instead of polling every few seconds.
    • Active sessions are no longer re-read from disk every 30 s, each hook only processes what is new, and the Codex / Cursor / Antigravity readers slow down when there is nothing to read.
    • Update checks run hourly, and only while a dashboard tab is open.

    Database upkeep

    • Settings → Session cleanup: optionally delete finished sessions older than N days (off by default), and Compact now to give freed space back to the disk. Free space is also returned a little at a time every hour.

    Fixes

    • Images attached in the chat view show as [Image #n] in Claude again on Windows.
    • The pet opens straight into its chat window; the chat view can answer Claude's "trust this folder" prompt.
    • Windows: closing a session's terminal no longer crashes the dashboard.
    • A missing git is reported clearly; the install guide is now one document (INSTALL.md).

    • Settings → Session cleanup: tuỳ chọn tự xoá các phiên đã xong cũ hơn N ngày (mặc định tắt), và nút Compact now để trả dung lượng trống về ổ đĩa. Dung lượng trống cũng được trả dần mỗi giờ.

    Sửa lỗi

    • Ảnh đính kèm trong khung chat lại hiện thành [Image #n] trong Claude trên Windows.
    • Bấm vào pet mở thẳng cửa sổ chat; khung chat trả lời được câu hỏi "trust this folder" của Claude.
    • Windows: đóng terminal của một phiên không còn làm dashboard bị crash.
    • Thiếu git được báo rõ ràng; hướng dẫn cài đặt gộp còn một tài liệu (INSTALL.md).
