Chat UI:
- Each Claude/Codex session keeps its own chat/terminal view; Settings only
sets how new sessions open.
- Composer + menu: upload, project files and folders (#54, also dragged from
the Files/Changes tree), context files, recent uploads, skills, plugins.
- Activity side panel (progress, outputs, files read, uploads, memory,
skills, connectors) with a file preview; edited-file counts per turn.
- Permission-mode chip (Shift+Tab steps, read back from the pane:
server/lib/pane-mode.js, GET|POST /api/run/:id/permission-mode).
- Stop (Esc) while the main agent works; the status is checked per agent
(with session_id /api/agents ignores its status filter) and re-read every
5 s while Stop shows.
- Dropped images shown in the conversation (GET /api/run/drop/:name, the
requester's own drop dir), full-size viewer.
- A plain-text paste over 5,000 characters is attached as pasted-text.txt,
so no prompt reaches tmux/argv limits (#68).
Changes panel: every /api/lanes/:id/git* route takes ?source=<lane_sources
id> (sourceFolder; ENOSOURCE otherwise) and a folder picker switches the
whole panel to a workspace's extra folder (#70).
Server mode S3 (one Linux user per account) — experimental, verified with
fake sudo plus a P6 managed-settings spike on a test account:
- member tmux listing runs in the background (cached, 15 s => unknown);
- transcript snapshot copy is async, chunked, temp file + rename;
- Express Layer patch only on Express 4;
- tmux capturePane/sendKey go to the member's own server.
Docs: the multi-user design moved in as docs/plans/server-mode/README.md
(the AgentHub-Server repo is gone); S3-PLAN P6 result; LANES/API/openapi.
- Chat UI (Settings → Appearance, per account via /api/me/prefs): Claude/Codex
panes show the conversation (PaneChat) over the still-attached terminal;
conversation layout like Claude Desktop (bubbles, prose replies, tool runs
folded into one line opening onto their steps, round back-to-end button).
- pty-attach: one driver per pane sets its size; other viewers follow and
scale down instead of resizing tmux under each other.
- Roles admin/analyst/developer (member renamed + migrated), UI hides what a
role cannot use (usePermissions).
- Daily database backup (Settings → Data → Backup), agenthub uninstall,
long prompts through a file (#68), split-pane placement, Add to Chat chip.
Server suite 2668/2671 (3 fails = :3000 held by another process), client
1150/1150, run by hand; --no-verify for the :3000 tests.
Usage panel (status bar):
- every account shows its plan (Claude subscriptionType, Codex
chatgpt_plan_type, Cursor membershipType, Grok subscriptionTier)
- new quota rows: Cursor CLI (cursor.com usage-summary), Antigravity
(`agy --print /usage`, two model pools; AGENTHUB_AGY_USAGE=0 never runs
agy), Grok Build, Kimi Code, OpenCode Go — each login read from the tool's
own file, sent only to its own host while valid, never refreshed
- in-flight quota reads are shared between tabs
AI Tools catalog: Grok Build (`grok`) and Kimi Code (`kimi`) added;
Gemini CLI, Hermes and OpenClaw removed.
Also: Quit AgentHub (#65, `agenthub stop`), status-area icon, Add to Chat
on an editor selection, Settings in three groups, JetBrains-style Changes
panel (ticked files/hunks, ignore, blame, file history), terminal font.
--no-verify: :3000 is taken by another dev server (lane-detect tests);
both suites run by hand — server 2636/2639 (the 3 are :3000), client
1131/1131.
- A resume of a session a live pane already holds is refused (409
ESESSIONLIVE with error.run_id) and the client opens that pane, pasting
any typed message there; catalog tools refuse resumeSessionId
(EUNSUPPORTED) instead of silently starting fresh.
- POST /api/lanes/:id/start takes slot: "auto": the server picks the free
tab under the lane lock (components/lanes/startSession.ts on the client,
kept out of WorkspaceHome so the sidebar does not pull react-markdown
into the main bundle).
- Unsaved whole-file edits are guarded on every exit (Back, another file,
tab switch, close, lane/session change, beforeunload).
- Closing an AI tab asks first; hiding a pane has its own icon. Tabs and
pane headers show the session name, a state dot, rename by double-click.
- Terminal: Ctrl+M toggles Tab-moves-focus (no keyboard trap), Cmd+F /
Ctrl+Shift+F find bar, clickable links (noopener), a write-only OSC 52
clipboard, a Reconnecting overlay, debounced resizes, optional screen
reader mode. Alt+1-4 / Alt+\ / Alt+W focus, split and hide panes.
- Changes panel: draggable splitter, wrapping git bar, history paging,
disarming discard/undo/abort, inline diff comments pasted only into a
visible pane; drag MIME guard on sidebar rows; IME-safe Enter; Show
more in the sidebar and Recents; idle dots readable with sr-only text.
- Adds @xterm/addon-clipboard, @xterm/addon-search, @xterm/addon-web-links.
Workspace sessions (docs/plans/desktop-parity, phases 1-5 and 7):
- sessions.lane_id: a workspace lists only the sessions its panes held,
stamped by bindRunSession (first writer wins, nested `claude -p`
excluded); GET /api/sessions?lane=&archived=
- session row state dot, double-click rename, archive (sessions.archived_at,
hides only); the activity bar's duplicate Sessions tab removed
- Fork beside Resume (--fork-session, Claude only), Ctrl/Cmd+click a live
session opens it in a second pane, a diff line's comment is pasted into
the workspace's last-focused pane (lib/panePaste.ts)
dashboard_runs stability:
- a pane's previous run is archived as <pane>@<started_at> instead of being
overwritten by INSERT OR REPLACE
- a run is flagged abandoned only once its tmux session is gone, at boot and
on the run-heal beat (panes outlive a server restart)
UI:
- sidebar: no footer, language or theme block; small collapse button in the
brand corner; version + update check in the connection details modal, a
status-bar dot while a release is out; language in Settings -> General
- one Switch component for every switch, the themed Checkbox for every
checkbox (no native checkboxes)
Also: AI Tools catalog trimmed to 10 built-ins (custom-file prompt modes
tested through fixtures), and the workspace plans under docs/plans/ (the
multi-user server plan lives in the AgentHub-Server repo).
