- Changes panel: a working file opens in a CodeMirror editor with its diff
inline (DiffEditor.tsx, @codemirror/merge, lazy-loaded); Changes folds the
unchanged lines, Whole file shows them; side by side at 50/50 and full
width; a Revert per block; original from HEAD or the branch's merge base
(`mergeBase` on GET /git/changes?range=branch)
- Every diff: green = line added whole, red = removed whole, blue = edited
in place (--diff-mod)
- History drawn as a commit graph (#58: `parents` on GET /git/log,
--date-order; lib/commitGraph.ts)
- Per-workspace never-stage list, drawn orange in the Files tree (--kept);
closed Terminal rows past three deleted
- Status bar plan quota for Claude (per account) and Codex
(GET /api/pricing/quota, server/lib/quota.js); compact hover panel that
stays open, Refresh button with a spinner
- Settings → Appearance holds language, theme and pet; Ctrl+Shift+C copies;
compact sidebar navigation and short session times
- A resume of a session a live pane already holds is refused (409
ESESSIONLIVE with error.run_id) and the client opens that pane, pasting
any typed message there; catalog tools refuse resumeSessionId
(EUNSUPPORTED) instead of silently starting fresh.
- POST /api/lanes/:id/start takes slot: "auto": the server picks the free
tab under the lane lock (components/lanes/startSession.ts on the client,
kept out of WorkspaceHome so the sidebar does not pull react-markdown
into the main bundle).
- Unsaved whole-file edits are guarded on every exit (Back, another file,
tab switch, close, lane/session change, beforeunload).
- Closing an AI tab asks first; hiding a pane has its own icon. Tabs and
pane headers show the session name, a state dot, rename by double-click.
- Terminal: Ctrl+M toggles Tab-moves-focus (no keyboard trap), Cmd+F /
Ctrl+Shift+F find bar, clickable links (noopener), a write-only OSC 52
clipboard, a Reconnecting overlay, debounced resizes, optional screen
reader mode. Alt+1-4 / Alt+\ / Alt+W focus, split and hide panes.
- Changes panel: draggable splitter, wrapping git bar, history paging,
disarming discard/undo/abort, inline diff comments pasted only into a
visible pane; drag MIME guard on sidebar rows; IME-safe Enter; Show
more in the sidebar and Recents; idle dots readable with sr-only text.
- Adds @xterm/addon-clipboard, @xterm/addon-search, @xterm/addon-web-links.
- AI Tools moves from a Settings section into a modal behind a button at the
Settings tab bar's right edge (AiToolsModal, `actions` on PageTabs,
/settings#ai-tools); rows get an enable switch, Default badge, and an
Update button for every tool whose catalog names an updater (no version
lookup on open); not-installed tools fold behind a disclosure, a finished
job's log folds to one line; shared AiToolIcon
- codex updates through its own `codex update`, openclaw/hermes gain
`update --yes`; update-all runs every installed updater and skips an npm
one only when npm does not manage the binary
- Add-lane tool picker is one button showing the chosen tool that opens the
enabled tools as buttons
- Claude Code / Codex AgentHub sub-tab folded into Overview (home editor,
hooks, pricing); the path list drops CLAUDE_HOME/CODEX_HOME;
HomeDirSetting shows the saved value only while the field differs
- Preview/Raw toggle for markdown files in the config FileViewer and the
Changes panel's whole-file view (MarkdownPreview: react-markdown +
remark-gfm, raw HTML never run, frontmatter as a code block)
- docs and the CLAUDE.md marker updated
Two leftovers from the rebrand, done together because they touch the same
docs and manifests.
**Data directory.** `agent-dashboard` could not simply be renamed in the
source: it names a real directory holding the live SQLite database. Startup
now moves it once, via `migrateLegacyDataDir()` in `server/lib/claude-home.js`
— a same-filesystem rename, so it is instant even at multiple gigabytes and
cannot leave two divergent copies. `getDataDir()` stays PURE and resolves to
the legacy path until the move happens; the first version of this put the
rename inside the getter, which meant `npm run test:server` relocated the
developer's real database as a side effect. The call sits behind
`require.main === module` and ahead of the router requires, because those pull
in db.js, which opens SQLite at module load. A failed rename is silent and the
old directory keeps being used: an unfashionable directory name beats a blank
database beside an unreachable one. Same treatment for the port-discovery file
(`.agent-dashboard.json` → `.agenthub.json`, old one dropped on write).
Not renamed on purpose: the Sagi localStorage keys (renaming silently resets
everyone's prefs) and the PWA manifest `id` (changing it orphans an installed
app).
**MCP server.** 4 tool calls in 46 days across 577,132 events, against 4,556
lines of TypeScript, a 2 MB committed build artifact, and a pre-commit guard
that had already blocked commits twice. Deleted: `mcp/`, the maintainer skills
and `mcp-reviewer` agent, the build check, `plugins/agenthub/.mcp.json`,
`docs/MCP.md`, 12 npm scripts, 5 Makefile targets, and every doc section
describing it.
Kept, because they are unrelated things sharing the name: the Config
Explorer's MCP tab and its API, per-lane Playwright MCP, the agenthub-config
plugin's MCP audit, and the historical `mcp__plugin_agenthub_*` events that
analytics must keep attributing.
Verified: server 1432/1432, client 459/459, tsc clean, prettier clean. Both
directions of the migration proven — a sandbox-HOME test run leaves the legacy
directory untouched, and a real boot moves it with its contents intact.
Scrolling a console left stray characters glued to the left edge of blank
lines. Copying an affected line yields clean text, so the buffer was always
correct — only the painting drifted, which no CSS can correct.
xterm's default DOM renderer aligns each row with a single `letter-spacing`
value. That holds only while every glyph comes from one monospace font, and
TerminalView passed no fontFamily, so xterm used its default
`courier-new, courier, monospace`: Vietnamese diacritics and CJK fall
through to a fallback face whose advance width differs, glyphs shove their
neighbours along, and the row's tail spills onto the row below.
The canvas renderer draws every cell at a fixed position, so a wide glyph
can no longer displace its neighbours. Loaded best-effort — a browser that
cannot hand back a 2D context keeps the DOM renderer rather than losing the
terminal entirely.
Ruled out first, each by replaying the real byte stream into xterm.js and
diffing against `tmux capture-pane`: wrapped Vietnamese at the margin, mixed
CJK, wheel scrolling through copy-mode, and a live 131->95->131 resize all
render byte-identically at matched widths.
client 448/448, tsc clean.
The d3-sankey tool-transition chart was the last of the deep harness-internals
visualizations issue #6 set out to remove: a wall of bands showing that Read
tends to precede Edit, with nothing a reader could act on. It goes, along with
its i18n keys in both locales and the now-orphaned d3-sankey dependency.
The workflows API response is untouched — `toolFlow` still ships in the
aggregate and still feeds the Dashboard's top-tools list. Remaining sections
renumber 4-9.
Internal SmartGift build of a Claude Code monitoring dashboard.
Lanes: a durable unit of parallel agent work, one per working directory,
tracked across session restarts. Managed lanes are git worktrees the
dashboard provisions and can reset or remove behind a three-check destroy
guard and a counted preflight; adopted lanes are directories you already
own and are never destroyable.
Pipelines: a lane moves through pipeline stages. A stage the agent declares
with evidence renders green; a stage inferred from the tool-event stream
renders dashed amber and never counts as done. Detection is forward-only
within a 30-minute window, and never writes the declared stage.
Workspace: one page at /run with a lane grid, the selected lane's pipeline,
and a full Claude console behind a disclosure.
